2001 Memorial Block
This block
was the one I designed in memory of the
Canadians, and all of those from many countries who lost their lives
Sept 11th, for their friends & families and co-workers,
and in honour
of the police firefighters, emergency and medical staff who worked
so hard.
You can download my EQ4 project file here (it's zipped). For those who don't have EQ software, this design is fairly simple - just draw something similar yourself. The background can be pieced as shown here, or use random piecing, or just a solid piece of a special print fabric. For the memory block I donated, I used one solid fabric for the background, it was called "One World" and it was printed with the names of many countries on a solid dark background
