Confetti Quilt

A free pattern © Copyright Piecepatcher Quilts

This scrappy block uses plain squares and pieced units, combined into a traditional 9-patch block. There is no pattern, but it is easily drawn.  Suggested block size - 6" (finished).  Piece scraps first, then trim to 2.5" and join with plain squares to make each 6"block. You can use your stash for this one, it needs lots of colours. Use neutrals and lights for the background, and also for the plain blocks set into the quilt. Use simple quilt-in-the-ditch around each block and quilt stars onto the plain blocks
